Saigas in Captivity: From Captive Breeding to the Release into the Wild

Almost all available literary sources on the history of breeding and content of saiga in different conditions are analyzed and generalized. Briefly given information on the arrangement of enclosures, the capture of animals in nature and their transportation, on feeding adults and young animals, etc. The results of attempts to return saigas from captivity to nature are presented. Particular attention is paid to the work carried out in centers established in Russia.
