Sasha the Saiga is a cuddly toy that travels the world with members of the Imperial College Conservation Science group. Sasha's adventures are documented in a blog aimed at children, and promoted on facebook and twitter.

Project objectives

To raise awareness of saiga conservation. To promote the sale of toy saigas, thereby raising funds for the SCA. To engage children in nature exploration and conservation. To share the work of the ICCS group.

Project activities

The blog is regularly updated with photos and stories of Sasha's adventures, and new posts are promoted on facebook and twitter. In addition, we hope that Sasha will visit primary schools in the UK to teach children about saigas and promote nature exploration at home.
