The saiga in the Darwin Museum

The saiga in the Darwin Museum

Between 4th April and 25th June 2017 an exhibition called 'Saiga - a relict antelope' took place in one of the halls of the State Darwin Museum in Moscow.

This is the largest museum of natural sciences in Europe. Its goal was to draw people's attention to this unique animal and its status, and organised by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) as part of 'The Week of Wildlife Protection', an educational project for children and adults which the fund has been carrying out annually for over 25 years. The visitors familiarised themselves with the saiga, a wonderful ungulate species, saw original photographs and videos and enjoyed the works of young artists.
